SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Following TCU's 78-52 loss to South Carolina in the Elite Eight on Monday night, guard Olivia Miles said she is "ready for the W at this point."

A projected lottery pick, Miles finished her final collegiate game with 18 points and six assists.

"For me, the next step is the WNBA," Miles told ESPN. "I'm excited, and I'm grateful that I've had my time in college, but I'm ready for the W at this point. It's not like last year, where I could kind of choose what I wanted to do. My path is more clear this year."

After the 2025 season, Miles transferred from Notre Dame to TCU and opted to forgo the 2025 WNBA draft. Before Monday night's game, Miles expressed that coming to TCU allowed her to get her "joy back" and "love basketball again."

She said her season at TCU made her feel "inspired" and "motivated" again, especially as she enters the WNBA draft.

"I feel like I want to go chase after something," Miles said. "It's just a newfound fire in my heart, like I said just grateful that I was able to finish my college career with such incredible people. I'll never forget these little moments and these people that I got to create them with."

Starting in all 37 games, Miles became a standout leader for the Horned Frogs, averaging 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists.

In the first round of the NCAA tournament against UC San Diego, Miles made history when she recorded her 12th career triple-double. She became only the third player to record multiple triple-doubles in the women's NCAA tournament (her first was with Notre Dame in 2022), joining Sabrina Ionescu and Nicole Powell.

"I am trying to take a moment to understand what actually happened this year and to be grateful for it," Miles said. "Ultimately, you know, getting ready for the draft, everything with the drafts have happened so quickly, especially with free agency and expansion and all that stuff, so I'm going to try and stay present, but I know a lot is going to be happening in the next few weeks, for sure."
